Rex McWhorter
Magistrate Fourth District Warren County, Kentucky
Rex McWhorter is from Clinton County and came to BG in 1969 to go to WKU. He graduated from WKU in 1973 with a Agriculture degree. He met his wife, June, at WKU in the spring of 1970 and they married after college in 1973.
He started his career at Bowling Green Bank & Trust. He worked there for 5.5 years, then went to Federal Land Bank as branch Manager for 5.5 years, then went to Gary Force Inc. as a business manager. He worked for Gary Force for 12.5 years and then bought Residential Mortgage Corporation in 1997 where he served as a loan officer until he retired in 2021.
Rex is currently Magistrate of the 4th district and has enjoyed serving. He has 4 wonderful children, 8 grand children and has been very blessed by the good Lord for his family. Nicholas is an appraiser, Jeremy is a chiropractor, Dustin is a CPA, and Morgan is a stay-at-home mom.
